The Spanish Civil War in Literature & Film

This 2-hour workshop introduces you to one of Spain’s most significant historical and cultural themes. Through excerpts from literature and films, you will explore how the Civil War has been represented artistically, while learning to analyse content and vocabulary related to history, politics, and society. Activities include reading extracts, discussing characters, and practising essay-style responses.
